In June 17th 1999 Karen Bryant first comes to the Storm to be the CEO. On June 7th 1999 Seattle is chosen to be a franchise for women's basketball. On July 22 1999 Lin Dunn comes to the Storm to be the first Coach. In 2000 Seattle announces the team will be the Storm. On June 9th of 2000 the storm wins their first game. On april 20th 2001 the storm gets lauren jackson as the first pick. On July 11th Lauren Jackson get elected to her first all star game as a reserve. On April 19th of 2002 the Storm select Sue Bird as the first pick. In 2003 December 18 Anne Donovan is hired. On september 14th 2003 Lauren Jackson gets her first MVP. On october 12, 2004 the Storm win the championship! On April 16th, 2005 the Storm select Tanisha Wright as the 12th pick. On Juky 12th, 2006 Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson among with many others join the WNBA all-Decade team. On September 5, 2007 Lauren Jackson wins defensive player of the year. On January 8, 2008 Force 10 hoops buys the storm. Brian Agler is hired as head coach as Anne Donovan resigns and he gets Swin Cash and Sheryl Swoopes. On July 15th, 2009 Swin Cash is named MVP of the all-star game. On September 16th,2010 the storm win the championship again! That season the Storm were undefeated at home (17-0) and were 28-6 overall. On July 23, 2011 Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson, and Katie Smith are recongized as three of the top 15 players of all time. The Storm sign Tina Thompson on Februrary, 2012. Lauren Jackson got her 2nd MVP in 2007.
