This is a map of the internet generated in 2003 by a now defunct project called The Opte Project.
The lines represent active routes on the internet...can you imagine what it would look like today???

The graph color codes are:
- Red - Asia Pacific
- Green - Europe/Middle East/Central Asia/Africa
- Yellow - Latin America and Caribbean
- Cyan - RFC1918 IP Addresses
- White - Unknown
