Homework assignment: Understand how the chapter project specifications work

Print out the chapter 1 Song Project specification. Actually, find it first. :) Easiest way is to go to the Assignments page, find the first day of chapter one in the schedule, click the "Song Project" link. This will take you to the HW Help page at the section with all the information and resources needed for the project.

1. Read the spec through for basic understanding.
2. With a marker, go back through and identify:
   • How the project relates to the chapter ... i.e. what from the chapter are we applying?
   • All the "must do" stuff in the spec ... i.e. try to identify what you will be graded on.
   • NOTE: Language such as "you should", "you should not", or "your program should" is *NOT* suggestive, it is mandatory. It should be read as "you must", "you must not", etc.
   • On a separate piece of paper write a summarized list of the requirements you have found.

Bring this to class tomorrow to turn in, be prepared to discuss.
